I’m very excited to begin workshop season again—here are a few early-season offerings to get you started, with more to follow:
Intro to Cyanotype @ Tryon Arts & Crafts School (NC), March 14th 10AM - 1PM
This introductory workshop will walk you through the basics of exposing & processing cyanotypes in the beautiful setting of the Tryon Arts & Crafts School. Registration ends March 7th—sign up now!
Cyanotype 2-day Intensive @ Relay Ridge (Knoxville, TN), March 27th - 28th
Also suitable for beginners, this workshop will walk you through all the stages of the cyanotype process, as well as provide time and materials for more creative investigations. We’ll meet from 5:30PM - 8:30PM on Friday evening and from 9AM - 12PM on Saturday morning. Register here!
Cyanotype Sandbox @ Penland School of Craft (NC), May 24th - 29th
This workshop is one I’ve been looking forward to all year. Penland is an amazing place to focus on one’s practice, and I’ve found that the inspiring surroundings, amazing facilities and friendly faces make it one of the best places to make work. I’ll be leading a one-week workshop on all that is cyanotype, certainly covering the basics but also diving into digital negatives, toning and cyanotype on uncommon materials (think wood, ceramic and glass). This class is almost full, so sign up before registration closes on April 8th!
