I have a new exhibition opening Thursday, September 22nd at the Smail Gallery at Macalester College. "Standard Stars" focuses on an archive of decaying astronomical photographs I've been photographing over the past three years. The exhibition runs through May 2017. G.U.T. Feeling v4 is still on view at the Bakken Museum through June 4th. The performance was a one-time-only affair, but video and pictures will be posted shortly. Thank you to all who made it out and big thanks to the Bakken Museum and Coffee House Press for putting together a great program.

I'm thrilled to announce the opening of the fourth installment of my ongoing science/art project "G.U.T. Feeling" at the Bakken Museum in Minneapolis, MN. My largest diazotype piece to date "Shadow Falls", and my film "Standing Cedars" are now on view as part of the exhibition "Unfixed" at the Transformer Station in Cleveland, OH. From the press release:
"UNFIXED: The Fugitive Image, an exhibition featuring 11 national and international artists who are exploring the ephemeral image in a wide variety of ways with and without cameras, in still images as well as video."

I'll be lecturing at the Medium Festival of Photography in San Diego on Saturday, October 24th at 1:30PM. The festival is in its 4th year and continues to be one of the best photography festivals around. It's a 4-day event and happens downtown San Diego at the Lafayette Hotel. This past summer I participated in the Waabizipinikaan-Ziibi Filmmaking Residency, also known as WZFR. The fruits of my labors will be screened alongside the films of the other residents on Saturday, September 26th, 2015 at 7PM. The screening will be at Lily Springs Farm in Osceola, WI, with the films being projected over Mud Lake. More details here.
I'll be at the MN State Fair this Friday, September 4th--all day! I'll be in the Fine Arts Building coordinating and documenting an experiment designed to test whether or not the human mind can affect the outcome of coin flips and dice rolls. Stop by and take part!
