Over the past five years, I’ve photographed throughout the United States in former mines where scientists have installed experiments attempting to detect elusive elementary particles and theoretical dark matter. Photographs made and found on-site are sequenced alongside studio experiments through seven distinct chapters. The trans-media poet Amy Catanzano presents a series of typographical poems that span the scientific and mythopoetic to the surreal and absurd.
